The short version: this app has no accounts, no login, and no payment methods. Everything you track stays on your own device. The only thing we ever see is one anonymous ping — never anything about what cards you collect, search for, or trade.
One Piece TCG Collector doesn't ask you to sign up, log in, or hand over an email address. This isn't a missing feature — it's a deliberate choice. The moment an app asks you to create an account, it starts collecting things about you it doesn't need. We'd rather not have that data than have to explain later what we do with it.
This app is free and always will be. There is nothing to buy inside the app, so it never asks for payment information of any kind. If you'd like to support development, an entirely optional donation link is available outside the app. Every feature - tracking your collection, wishlist, trades, and analytics - works fully without donating. The one honest exception: donors can redeem a Supporter code (verified entirely on-device, no account or payment info involved) that stops the periodic in-app reminder banner asking for support - a courtesy for supporters, not a feature paywall.
Your collection, wishlist, and trade list are stored locally on your device, in the app's own local database. We don't have a copy. If you uninstall the app without exporting your data first, that data is gone — there's no cloud account to recover it from, because there's no cloud account.
The app does let you export your collection to a file (for backup, or to move to a new device) — that file is created and shared entirely by you, through your device's normal share/save mechanism. We never see it.
If you choose to share your trade list with another collector, the app generates a short-lived link containing only the card ids and quantities you're offering — no personal information, no account identifier. That data automatically expires and is deleted within 24 hours.
Once per app session, the app sends a single anonymous usage ping containing your approximate country (derived from your network, not GPS) and a randomly generated device identifier that isn't linked to you, your device's hardware id, or any account. This is purely so we can get a rough sense of how many people use the app and where — nothing about what you search for, collect, or trade is ever included.
This data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything beyond that basic usage count.
Card names, prices, and images shown in the app are sourced from CardMarket's public product catalog and served from our own content delivery infrastructure. Loading this data doesn't require or transmit any information about you.
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Given how little data this app touches in the first place, we don't expect that to happen often.
